Butterfly Valve

A Butterfly Valve is a flow control device used in pipelines to regulate or isolate fluid flow. It consists of a circular disc (the "butterfly") mounted on a rotating shaft. When the valve is closed, the disc blocks the flow, and when opened, the disc rotates to allow fluid to pass through. Known for its compact design, quick operation, and cost-effectiveness, butterfly valves are widely used in water, gas, and industrial systems. They are available in materials like stainless steel, cast iron, or plastic for durability in different applications.
