Service Technician
Job Description:
As a Service Technician at Mega SK, you will play a big role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and collaborating with the service team to meet customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosis and Repair:
a. Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify equipment issues.
b. Perform repairs on agricultural, industrial, and construction machinery such as generators, diesel and gasoline engine, electric motor, water pump, rice mills, tractors, harvesters, and other equipment in Mega SK’s line of business.
c. Ensure timely and efficient resolution of equipment malfunctions.
2. Preventive Maintenance:
a. Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns.
b. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Quality Assurance:
a. Uphold high standards of quality in all repair and maintenance activities.
b. Conduct quality checks to ensure repaired machinery meets specifications.
4. Documentation:
a. Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services provided.
b. Provide accurate and timely reports to the service supervisor.
5. Customer Interaction:
a. Interact with customers to understand and address their equipment concerns.
b. Provide clear explanations of repairs and maintenance procedures.
6. Collaboration:
a. Work closely with the service team and other departments to coordinate repairs.
b. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of required spare parts.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of a technical diploma in a technical-related field. Mechanical engineering is a plus.
● Proven experience as a Service Technician in the industry (at least 2 years).
● Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
● Knowledge of machinery and electrical components.
● Good communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. ● Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
